Top Reasons Why Your Hair Is Falling Out? (Part 1)

It’s a universal truth that males lose hair quickly than females, mainly because of male pattern baldness. However, hair loss and thinning problem have also become quite common in women nowadays.

Top Reasons of Hair Fall

Here is a list of the top reasons that may cause hair loss problem.

1. Physical Stress

Temporary hair loss can be caused by any type of physical trauma, including surgery, an accident, or severe illness, and sometimes even a flu. A type of hair loss medically known as telogen effluvium can start due to these reasons. After 3 to 6 months Hair loss becomes noticeable.

2. Pregnancy

Pregnancy can qualify as a type of physical stress which starts the problem of hair loss. Pregnancy-related hair loss occurs most often after the baby is delivered by the mother and not during the pregnancy period. Of course, there’s no doubt that giving birth is pretty traumatic.

3. Protein Deficiency

A recent study conducted by expert scientists has found that your body may start saving protein by stopping hair growth, if you don’t include enough protein in your diet. Hair loss problem can start about 2 to 3 months after a drop in protein intake in your diet, the study revealed.

4. Excess Of Vitamin A In The Body

There’s no doubt that vitamin A is vital nutrient for our body, but we need to understand that excess of anything can cause some problem for us. Hair loss can trigger due to high intake of medications & supplements containing vitamin A.

5. Male Pattern Baldness

Near about 2 out of every 3 men have to deal with the problem of hair loss by the time they reach the age 60. The major reason behind it is male pattern baldness. It occurs due to a combine effect of genes and male sex hormones.

6. Female Hormones

Changing or going off birth-control pills can also cause hair loss just like pregnancy hormone. The hormonal balance change in menopause can also give similar results. If you have a family history of hair loss then it is more likely that it can also cause telogen effluvium.

7. Heredity

Androgenic or androgenetic alopecia which is commonly known as female-pattern hair loss is just the female version of male pattern baldness. You might also be prone to the problem of hair loss, if you belong to a family where women have to deal with the problem of hair loss after a certain age due to various other reasons. Unlike males, you won’t see females dealing with the problem of a receding hairline. However, the hair parting on their head may become wider than before and they may also witness a noticeable thinning of hair.
